The oval shaped bronze is of three playful cherubs, one is distracting the other with a bouquet of flowers while the third cherub is taking a bouquet of flowers out of a weaved basket.
The cherubs have wonderful expressions on their faces. The signature is located on the bottom right front of the base.
The statue is raised by a a thick Rouge Veiné marble base decorated by an ormolu beaded band.
Ralph Charles Peyre was a Parisian sculptor born on June 1st. 1872 and was a student of Falguiere, Mercié and Th. Barrau. Peyre showed his works in prestigious art shows where he received honorable mentions.
