A Remarkable French 19th Century Neo-Classical Ormulu and Rouge du Languedoc marble tazza.
The tazza is raised by four ormulu scrolled feet beneath the most charming Rouge du Languedoc square marble base with molted borders.
The socle pedestal is decorated with a light antique frieze, the front and rear of the tazza features a highly decorative and richly chased pierced ormulu foliate design.
The sides are flanked by beautiful and wonderfully executed handles with striking lion heads.
