Paul Nicolas commence à signer ses productions personnelles Dargental entre 1919 et 1952. En 1893, après ses études à l’école des Beaux-Arts de Nancy, il est embauché par Emile Gallé chez qui il fait tout son apprentissage jusqu’à être maître verrier.
Son goût artistique et sa technicité se rretrouvent dans l’élégance de ce vase.

Paul Nicolas began to sign his personal productions Dargental between 1919 and 1952. In 1893, after his studies at the School of Fine Arts in Nancy, he was hired by Emile Gallé with whom he did all his apprenticeship until he became a master glassmaker. His artistic taste and technicality are reflected in the elegance of this vase.
