Designed in 1927 by Harald Nielsen, the Pyramid sterling silver cutlery pattern was inspired by a fascination of Ancient Egyptian forms and symbolism which were in vogue in the late 1920s after the discovery of Tutankhamon’s tomb. Pyramid’s Egyptian motif, seen in the stepped pyramid finial topped off with a small ball, illustrates Harald Nielsen’s contribution to the highly stylized and geometric art-deco style
