An exquisite pair of 19th century Louis XVI st. ormulu and marble candelabras.
Each candelabra is raised on a square Rouge Griotte marble base on fine toupie shaped feet below a most elegant pierced fitted ormulu band.
The socle pedestals are adorned by fine foliate designs.
The ormulu bodies display charming and extremely decorative scenes of richly chased classical maidens wearing dresses flowing in the wind.
The bodies are incased by fine arms at each side with a charming foliate and palmette design below a handsome flutted neck.
Above are the outstanding arms each displaying lovely spiraled designs adorned with large ancathus leaves and ending in floral candlecups.
