Green velvet garnish. Mahagony armchairs probably delivered to Napoléon Bonaparte, the Premier Consul, to the Saint Cloud castle around 1801 - 1802. The chairs are stamped Georges Jacob (1739-1814), Master in 1765, one of the most popular carpenter of the 18th century. Castle of Saint Cloud stamps with several inventory numbers of the Mobilier National. France. 18th century.
