Lustre Français du XVIIIème siècle de forme cage en bronze doré à décor de cristal taillé vers 1760-1770
Un rare lustre de forme cage d’époque Louis XV, en bronze anciennement doré au mercure (toujours en partie dans sa dorure d’origine), proposant un superbe décor de cristal taillé blanc et fumé, formé de grandes plaquettes, de nombreuses étoiles et rosaces et d'un fût central. Notre lustre se termine par une importante boule en cristal soufflé et taillé.
Notre lustre éclaire par huit bras de lumières à clavettes démontables.

En très bon état de conservation. Le lustre a été nettoyé et électrifié aux standards Européens, possibilité d’adaptation aux standards Américains sur demande.
18th century French ormolu cage chandelier with cut crystal decoration circa 1760-1770
A rare Louis XV-period cage-shaped chandelier, in bronze formerly gilded with mercury (still partly in its original gilding), featuring superb white and smoky cut-crystal decoration, formed of large plates, numerous stars and rosettes and a central shaft. Our chandelier ends with a large ball in blown and cut crystal.
Our chandelier is illuminated by eight arms of light with removable keys.

In very good condition. The chandelier has been cleaned and electrified to European standards, and can be upgraded to American standards on request.
