Clovis - Edmond Masson (1838-1913)
Élève de Barye , Rouillard et Santiago , Masson expose régulièrement ses sculptures animalières au Salon de 1867 à 1909 .
À partir de 1867 , avec son plâtre la "Chasse aux tigres indiens " , il se spécialise sur la représentation animale , son travail est ludique et inventif avec une certaine licence de son mentor , Antoine-Louis Barye .
Au fil des années , au moins cinquante-deux de ses œuvres , ont été exposées au Salon par Masson .
Son fils Jules-Edmond Masson est également devenu sculpteur et a étudié avec son père .
La ville de Nimes possède plusieurs sculptures de l'artiste dans son Musée .

Clovis - Edmond Masson (1838-1913)
Pupil of Barye , Rouillard and Santiago , Masson regularly exhibited his animal sculptures at the Salon from 1867 to 1909 .
From 1867 , with his plaster "Indian Tiger Hunt" , he specialized in animal representation , his work is playful and inventive with a certain license from his mentor , Antoine-Louis Barye .
Over the years , at least fifty-two of his works have been exhibited at the Salon by Masson .
His son Jules-Edmond Masson also became a sculptor and studied with his father .
The city of Nimes has several sculptures by the artist in its Museum .
