Cossu SERVICE A VERSER de quatre pièces en Argent 800/1000 dit aussi SERVICE A Thé et à Cafè  d'atours Louis XV composé d'une théière, d'une cafetière, d'un sucrier couverts et d'un pot-à-créme. Travail d'orfèvrerie étrangère -vraissemblablent anglais ou allemand (poinçon difficilement identifiable)- de qualité de la première moitié du XIXe siècle. Poids brut: 2907 g.
Reposant sur un piètement quadripode à enroulements à attaches feuillagées, chaque pièce présente sur sa forme pansue et godronnée ceinte de bandeaux ourlés de menus guillochés un foisonnant décor finement ouvragé de rinceaux, fleurons d'acanthe feuillagés. Nanties pour certaines de bagues en ivoire, les anses de la théière, de la cafetière et du pot-à-créme sont formées de demi-coquilles affrontées soulignées de volutes stylisées; enrichies sur leurs attaches  d'un panache d'acanthe feuillagée, celles  du pot-à-sucre reprennent ces motifs réunis dès lors par une coquille centrale à bords ondés. D'une inspiration Rocaille tout aussi enjoleuse, des feuillages d'acanthe à volubiles retroussis généreusement ciselées  enserrent les courbes des becs verseurs des deux pièces maîtresses dudit service nimbés de cannelures..
Les couvercles -à charnière (théière, cafetière) ou amovible à bords lobés (sucrier)- sont  coquettement sommés sur leur forme bombée au galbe godronné festonné de fins rinceaux d'acanthe feuillagés d'un frétel à motif en corolle de fleurs printanières "au naturel" ciselées avec grâce et délicatesse.
Silhouette luxuriante, générosité des  formes exaltée par des motifs décoratifs librement inspirés du prolixe répertoire  ornemental de Style Louis XV- Rocaille égayé d'une pimpante note florale individualisent ce convivial Service à Verser dont le modèle est à rapprocher de ceux créés  par l'orfévrerie anglaise des années 1830-1840

Cozy POURING SERVICE of four pieces in 800/1000 Silver also called Tea and Coffee SERVICE of Louis XV finery composed of a teapot, a coffee pot, a covered sugar bowl and a cream pot . Foreign goldsmith work - probably English or German (mark difficult to identify) - of quality from the first half of the 19th century. Gross weight: 2907 g. Resting on a quadripod base with scrolls with foliage attachments, each piece presents on its paunchy and gadrooned form surrounded by bands hemmed with small guilloche patterns an abundant finely crafted decoration of foliage and acanthus florets. Some adorned with ivory rings, the handles of the teapot, the coffee maker and the cream pot are formed from facing half-shells highlighted with stylized scrolls; enriched on their attachments with a plume of leafy acanthus, those of the sugar pot take up these motifs united by a central shell with wavy edges. With an equally charming Rocaille inspiration, generously chiseled upturned acanthus foliage encloses the curves of the pouring spouts of the two centerpieces of the said service surrounded by flutes. The lids - hinged (teapot, coffeepot) or removable with edges lobed (sugar bowl) - are coquettishly crowned on their rounded shape with a gadrooned curve festooned with fine acanthus scrolls foliaged with a frétel with a corolla motif of "natural" spring flowers chiseled with grace and delicacy. Lush silhouette, generosity of forms exalted by decorative motifs freely inspired by the prolix ornamental repertoire of Louis from the 1830s-1840s
